Wat Arun (Thai: วัดอรุณ, Temple of the Dawn, perhaps so named because the first light of morning is reflected off the surface of the temple with a pearly irridescence) is a buddhist temple (wat) in Bangkok, Thailand. The temple is located in the Bangkok Yai district, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River. The full name of the temple is Wat Arunratchawararam Ratchaworamahavihara (วัดอรุณราชวรารามราชวรมหาวิหาร).

Wat Phichai Songkram is located in Tambon Paknam, Muang District near the City Hall. It was constructed towards the end of the Ayutthaya period in the reign of King Taisra (1708-1732) and is one of the oldest temples in Samut Prakarn. It is not known who constructed this temple but it was formerly known as Wat Po. During the reign of King Rama II, the temple was renovated by Phraya Phichai Songkram and the wat was then named after him. However, most people call it by its nickname, Wat Nok.

The 12,565 acres (5,026 hectares) Tasik Chini is the second largest fresh water lake in Malaysia and is made up of a series of 12 lakes. Chini River, which drains from the lake, flows into Pahang River. The river is dammed to maintain the lake's depth during the dry season. However, this has disrupted the natural ecology of the lake and caused the death of trees on its shores due to elevated water level

Cameron Highlands is a highland region located about 20 km east of Ipoh and about 150 km north of Kuala Lumpur, in Pahang, Malaysia. At 5,000 ft (1,500 m) above sea level it is the highest area on the mainland, and enjoys a cool climate, with temperatures no higher than 25 °C and rarely falling below 12 °C year round. Actually, Cameron Highlands is a district in the state of Pahang Darul Makmur although the road entrance is via Tapah and Simpang Pulai in the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan. The size of the whole Cameron Highlands district is roughly as big as two and a quarter Singapore.
